Managed Cloud Servers Overview

Cloud servers are virtual servers with some extras:

  1. Scalability - Resources can increase or decrease based on current needs
  2. Availability - Data can be migrated automatically between physical servers
  3. Redundancy - Cloud servers are based on a farm of physical servers

Appnor operates 3 infrastructure clouds in Bucharest (Romania), Amsterdam (Holland) and Reston (Virginia, U.S.A.). We employ the main virtualization technologies: Xen, KVM, VMWare and HyperV. The servers run three types of operating systems: Windows, Linux and UNIX.

Create your managed cloud server recipe out of the 4 main ingredients:

Hardware Configuration - Choose how much CPU power, RAM memory, disk and bandwidth you will use. Check out the cloud servers configurations.

Management Packs - Choose if you want us to only take care of the monitoring and basic services, or if everything should be delegated. Check out our Professional Services offer.

Location - Choose the geographical location of your server: East Coast USA, Western Europe or Eastern Europe. You should make this choice based on the location of your customers.

Operating System - It can be Windows, Linux or UNIX. We only support selected versions, but can accommodate any platform request.
